Unemployment rate drops in March as U.S. companies add 180,000 jobs
American employers raised up hiring in March, making the U.S. unemployment rate down to 4.4 per cent. It was a shockingly performance in an economy that has shown signs of slowness recently. The new snapshot also showed that employers increased their payrolls by a strong 180,000 in March, the most since December. Workers' also saw their paychecks get bigger. The figures suggested that companies are not feeling a need to clamp down on hiring in the face of the slower overall economic activity and the deep housing slump. The U.S. report came a day after Statistics Canada reported that the Canadian economy produced 55,000 new jobs in March - five times what economists forecast. Canada's March's unemployment rate remained steady, hitting a 30-year low of 6.1 per cent last month.
I think the American people which are the workers, the companies, small businesses, and entrepreneurs should feel really great that everything is increasing . It show that they are having a successfully in theeconomy. I think the Canada is also not doing that bad with the unemployment rate.
